This turquoise statement ring is completely hand made by me. The stunning stone is a natural oval cut of top grade kingman turquoise. Because the stone is natural, and not stabilized, it will be susceptible to color changes if not properly care for. If you wear it in the pool or shower, or don’t take it off to wash your hands, the stone will absorb water (lotion, soap, chlorine) and darken over time. To retain the beautiful color shown, take it off to do any of the mentioned activities. The stone is set in fine and sterling silver and is wrapped in a bead border. The setting sits on a double shank band that is stamped by hand with a sunburst pattern. The ring isn darkened with patina to bring out the detail and polished to a shiny finish. Makes a great gift!
